It looks like President Trump’s deportation efforts are expanding to include four-legged immigrants. Monday morning, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents began visiting animal shelters across the country searching for purebred chihuahuas and obvious chihuahua mixed breed dogs. The agents have been instructed by the White House to round up all stray chihuahuas and send them back to Mexico. ICE has converted three military transport planes into flying animal shelters. Up to 1,200 of the dogs can be transported at one time. “Chihuahuas are the bullies of the dog world. Everyone knows that. They’re mean. They bite. They’ll fight anything…

This year, the General Assembly made good on that request. The resolution, which passed overwhelmingly in both the House and the Senate, recognizes the tattoo’s growing acceptance in Georgia. “Once almost solely reserved for bikers, soldiers and sailors, musicians, and convicts, tattoos are…

Douglas is full of jacked up four-wheel drive pickups, SUVs, and Jeeps. They look nice. They should be offroad machines. The Spike, as we at the Golden Peanut have come to call it, is a result of the Bryan Street water line project that began in December of last year. The project took several months to complete and caused traffic problems on Bryan and Pearl Avenue while it was being completed. The road…
